Meet the Claire and the Team

I founded Nutritional Freedom after forging my own path back to true health after more than a decade of trying everything the diet industry could throw at me. I saw that other women deserved the peace I had found, and I’ve worked hard to develop programs that empower you to find your own path to nutritional freedom.

After a while I recognized that the NF mission is much bigger than just me, so I started to grow my team with expert practitioners. We’ve got amazing mindset and nutrition coaches on the team who can’t wait to meet you!

Hey I’m Claire!

I’m a registered dietitian who’s all about balancing my real food, veggie-heavy approach to nutrition with my love of burgers, dark chocolate, and red wine. But I wasn’t always this way…

I spent the decade between ages 13 and 23 on a diet. I counted calories, tracked macros, logged Points, punished myself through exercise, the works. I’d try just about anything if I thought it would help me lose weight.

On what would turn out to be my last diet, I reached my goal weight and guess what? I still wasn’t happy. So I began to look inward to achieve the confidence I was after. I started to prioritize my mental health as much as my physical well being.

Through this shift, I learned that health fueled by self-care felt so much better than forcing myself to diet and exercise from a place of self-loathing. I learned that self-respect is at the root of self-confidence. And I saw how healing my relationship to food and my body had a positive ripple effect throughout the rest of my life– my career, my social life, and my romantic relationships.

I founded Nutritional Freedom to help other women experience this same evolution in how they view not only their health, but also themselves.

How We’re Different

At Nutritional Freedom we help you break out of the diet-binge-guilt cycle with our proven process. NF works because we dig deep to address each client’s underlying problems, rather than just providing a Band-Aid solution for the symptoms that those problems bring up.

We start by getting a clear understanding of where you’ve been and why it hasn’t worked. We’re not going to keep doing the same things and expect different results. If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done. From there, we help you get clear on where you want to go with your health and why it’s important to you. Then it’s all about creating a built-for-you strategy that encompasses all aspects of your health, physical and mental.

Group calls and weekly check-ins offer the external accountability to help get these new habits off the ground. We also help you create a renewed sense of internal accountability so you can maintain your healthy lifestyle over time.

When it comes to your struggles with food, diet, and body image, you’ve likely been suffering in silence or commiserating with others without taking action. In our programs, you’re never alone. We surround you with a group of supportive women who understand your struggles and are there to cheer you on.
