Chances are, you’re letting your past define your future in some way if you’ve ever said or thought something like…
“I’ve always been like that.”
“I’ve never been able to do that.”
Most of us do this. We define our future based on our past. It’s a form of expressing a limiting belief that we say is “being honest,” or “just being realistic.”
And this works, as long as you want to continue to think, feel, and do everything you’ve always thought, felt, and done. But if you want to change these things and change your results, well… You’re going to have to learn to separate your vision of your future from what you’ve experienced in the past.
