Body image is one of our favorite subjects to talk about in Nutritional Freedom. After all, you probably wouldn’t give a hoot (or as much of a hoot) about food and nutrition if it weren’t for how it affected your body/weight/body image, right?
But if you think about it… Body image isn’t just about the way you look. I know I felt the worst in my body when I was technically my thinnest and “fittest” looking. But my body image was in the tank because of the way I thought and felt about how I look. Now I’m in a bigger, softer body but I feel so much more comfortable in my skin because of what’s going on in my mind..
Perhaps you’ve had a similar experience in which your body image has fluctuated based on a number of factors that had nothing to do with how your body looked.
